Calling all DJ’s

Want to DJ to a hungry crowd appreciative of your music and alongside the worlds greatest DJ’s? If so you might want to read on….

What we are looking for:

• House DJ’s (Includes all spin-off genres excluding Electro specialists)
• 70’s, 80’s and 90’s DJ’s who can offer disco grooves, retro soul classics, classic house, basically big hits from times gone by, providing supplementary support to our cutting edge house music room and a distinct difference and alternative music source. We are open to ideas!
• You must be proficient at mixing. We are not looking for a turntable perfectionist, but at the same time Aintree is for trotting horses!!!
• Flexible and reliable
• We’ll judge your suitability so huge experience is not always a winner, but it might help!
• To protect Licensing laws you must be over 18 - sorry

And in return????

We will give you the stepping-stones to climb the DJ ladder and showcase your talent to an educated crowd. Competitive pay and VIP tickets for your friends. You will also get free coverage on our website and billing on our promotional material. Don’t forget you could find yourself warming up for the world’s greatest. CJ Mackintosh ring any bells….

Fed up of sending in CD’s that you never hear back from? We guarantee to listen to your mix and we will give you feedback even if you are not suitable. How’s that?

Velvet revolves around great music, great people and glamour. Part of our signature image is the velvet shadow lady.

We are always on the look out for new talent who can help promote our night and add glamorous touches to each of our events. Our May event will see the launch of our shadow dancers, performing LIVE. Think you can dance? Want to be involved with Velvet? Then contact us. We are extremely professional and looking for stylish, quality glamour, NOT Tack!
